go postle.

pardon my dust. i'm turning it into glitter.

Hi, I'm Chris. If you subscribe to the MBTI, I'm an INFJ. I put myself through school for a seemingly useless English/Creative Writing degree, but writing is my passion and that's what I want to do when I grow up. Still figuring out what comes next, and pretty much everything else, so I'm feeling kinda adventurous. And yes, that's exactly how my OkCupid profile starts out. Why mess with a good thing, eh?

The site's a work in progress. I'll be adding content over time, and hopefully eventually it'll evolve into something halfway interesting. I'm glad you're still reading, though. Usually by this point I have to show a little skin to keep 'em interested.

ripping stuff up...

this whole posting every day thing is strange to me. it's been a very long time since i've done that. today was much like yesterday. got up late, walked my nine miles, showered, ate, then started in on some more pruning away all the dead things that have accumulated over the years. getting tired of tearing up old sensitive documents. anyone got a paper shredder i can borrow? anyway, looks like tomorrow will be much the same. i'm calling a friend about work after the move, so wish me luck there. trying to get back on at hy-vee for a bit until i work something else out. i'm hoping to get most of this finished by then so i can start getting things organized for packing and such. next week's going to be pretty busy because everyone wants to hang out, and i want to as well. gonna be weird. i am becoming more accustomed to the idea, though, little by little.

day five. your favorite quote.

goodness. not a fan of these "favorite" things. i can never pick one. i love quotes, too. so, a random sampling:

"do or do not. there is no try." -- yoda

"it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live." -- j.k. rowling

"it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." -- antoine de saint-exupery

"what's coming will come and we'll just have to meet it when it does." -- j.k. rowling

"do what you can, and confess frankly what you are unable to do; neither let your effort be shortened for fear of failure, nor your confession silenced for fear of shame." -- john ruskin
